Suzette J. Timme Endowed/Annual Scholarship

Suzette Timme attended the College of Charleston from 1980-1984, but because of an unexpected financial hardship in her family, she made the difficult decision to leave the College before completing her degree. As a returning student, she received a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Organizational Leadership and Management in 2020. Suzette established this scholarship to support students facing similar unexpected financial needs, help ease that financial burden, and give them the means to complete their degree. Suzette has had a successful career in commercial real estate having held executive leadership positions, culminating in her role as President and CEO of Indigo Asset Services, a real estate advisory firm for family offices and private partnerships that she founded in 2017. Throughout her career, Suzette has served on numerous industry-related, civic, and non-profit boards. She is an accomplished leader in her industry who has participated in several mentoring programs and hold four professional designations. She is a former Commissioner of Economic Development for Arlington, Virginia and past President of Women in Retail Real Estate. A native South Carolinian who now resides in Arlington, Virginia, Suzette is married to Rear Admiral William G. Timme, USN (Ret), and they have two daughters.
