Katuna Endowed Scholarship in Environmental Studies

The Katuna Endowment Fund will support a candidate for admission to the MES Program with preference to a student with an undergraduate degree in Geology or related science field. Scholars must maintain full time status and a minimum 3.0 grade point average. The Director of the MES program and Chair of the Geology Department shall select qualified students.

Michael Katuna has been with the department since its inception. Through his vision and leadership, the department has grown in both strength and stature. The gifts to the fund were made in celebration of Dr. Katuna’s 25 years of service to the Department of Geology.
