Chick-fil-A Graduate Leadership Scholarship

Daniel Dickerson has served as the local restaurant Operator of Chick-fil-A Dorchester Road since the restaurant’s opening in 2005. A proud College of Charleston graduate, Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and French.

Marie Allain Dickerson has been the vice president of business development and marketing for ExtraHourz since its founding in 2020. Marie earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the College of Charleston and a master’s degree from SKEMA Business School in France.

Daniel and Marie met on campus while she was studying abroad from France and graduated college together in 1999. In 2018, they established this scholarship to equip others with leadership training for their future. Today, Daniel and Marie sponsor scholarships for individuals studying at College of Charleston, Charleston Southern University, Medical University of South Carolina, and Trident Technical Community College.

As long-time residents of Charleston, Daniel and Marie are involved in their local community and frequently partner with Charleston County School District and Dorchester School District Two’s community events in Summerville, Charleston, and North Charleston. They enjoy living in Charleston with their two children and frequently traveling the world to visit family and serve others.
