Preserving for the Future Scholarship

The purpose of this gift is to provide scholarships to:
- Students with a declared major in historic preservation and community planning
- Minimum GPA 3.0 or higher
- Students must submit a summary of extracurricular and cocurricular activities relating to historic preservation and community planning along with an essay based on the following prompt:
Why is historic preservation integral in municipalities of all ages and sizes? What is your past and present involvement in the field of historic preservation? What do you see as your future role?

Students who demonstrate the following attributes will be given preference:
- Demonstrated financial need

This scholarship will be awarded to one student annually in the amount of $2,500. This can be renewable if the student reapplies and continues to meet academic standards and scholarship requirements.
