Charleston Wine + Food Festival Senior Scholarship

The purpose of the Charleston Wine+Food Festival is to highlight and celebrate Charleston’s extraordinary culinary history and culture. The Festival also recognizes and supports culinary establishments that sustain local industry. The Festival is a world-class, four-day event that promotes and supports a variety of culinary interests and charities. Since 2008, the Charleston Wine + Food Festival has provided students with countless experiential learning opportunities and internships.
Eligibility
• Rising seniors, who are declared Hospitality and Tourism management major, minor or concentration students
• Must demonstrate event/industry-relevant involvement or intent through submission of an industry-relevant cover letter
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Preference is given to students who work with department faculty or Charleston Wine & Food staff to seek an internship or similar professional exposure. Candidates who indicate that they have completed an internship with the organization while attending the College will also receive preferential consideration.

Students will be asked to meet with a member of the Charleston Wine & Food team after selection.
