Shira Finke Community Engagement Scholarship

In honor of their daughter, Shira on the occasion of her graduation from the College of Charleston, the Finke family established this scholarship to support Jewish CofC students who intend to be active members of the CofC Hillel and to make a difference in the broader Jewish community.

Requirements:
-Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in good academic standing
-Applicants must demonstrate engagement with the Jewish Studies Program either through coursework or participation in CofC Hillel programming

Preferences
-Preference will be given to students who embody the Jewish values of inclusion, equity, and social justice, and are active within their local Jewish community

Renewability
-This scholarship award shall be renewable so long as the recipient continues to meet the requirements outlined above
