Joseph A.Tate Public Health Scholarship
Joseph A. Tate, a 2015 B.A. in Public Health graduate, and the Marketing and Events Coordinator in the School of Education, Health, and Human Performance (now the School of Health Sciences), died suddenly in April 2017. This award was funded by family and friends so that Joe’s legacy at the College of Charleston would be remembered and carried on. Applicants must be a declared B.S. or B.A. Public Health major; an active member of the Public Health Society for at least one year; must have financial need; 3.0 GPA and junior standing. This scholarship is renewable provided the recipient continues to meet the stated criteria.
