Health Sciences Merit Scholarship

Beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year, the Health Sciences Merit Scholarship will provide up to two awards annually to full-time students pursuing a degree within the School of Health Sciences.

To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:

Be a full-time student enrolled in a major within the School of Health Sciences (Exercise Science, Public Health, or Health Services Administration and Management)
Have completed a minimum of 9 credit hours of required coursework in their declared major
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Be an active member of the Public Health Society, Allied Health Alliance, or another health sciences-related student organization

In evaluating applicants, the scholarship committee will consider:

Professional, college, and/or community involvement
Any leadership roles held
The student’s goals and commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of others through their future work
