Mark and Gayle Sloan Endowed/Annual Scholarship for Jewish Studies

Mark Sloan ‘77 is a graduate of the College of Charleston and a native of Myrtle Beach. He retired in 2020 as Senior Vice President of Investments at Wells Fargo and was an active member and officer in community organizations on the local and state level. Mark is particularly supportive of the cultural aspects of Judaism and has identified combatting anti-Semitism as a key cause. Mark and Gayle’s initiation of this scholarhsip fund represents their interest in supporting Jewish students at the College of Charleston and giving back to the institution that gave Mark his start.
