Esther B. Ferguson Endowed Study Abroad Scholarship
The purpose of this endowed fund “Fund” is to provide study abroad scholarships based on the following criteria:
- Recipients must be enrolled full-time at the College and be in good academic standing
- Recipients must have demonstrated financial need
- Recipients must intend to participate in a study abroad program in Spain sponsored by either the College of Charleston or an approved exchange or affiliate program
- If no students are studying in Spain in a given year or if the College is not participating in a study abroad program in Spain, the scholarship may be awarded to a student participating in another European study abroad program.
These scholarships are not renewable.

- In at least 200 words, describe how you believe studying abroad in Trujillo, Spain would assist your academic objectives and future career plans, and explain how this scholarship would meet your financial needs to participate in this program. If you have already studied abroad in a Spanish-speaking country, please specify and explain how this additional experience in Trujillo will benefit you.
