J. Gorman '43 & Gladys Thomas Endowed/Annual Memorial Alumni Scholarship

J. Gorman Thomas, Jr. was a proud graduate of the Class of 1943, majoring in economics and French. He was also a member of the basketball team during his four years at the College and a member of the baseball team his freshman year. Gladys, though not an alumna of the College, enjoyed watching the men’s basketball games with her son, Dr. Gary Thomas, class of 1983. This scholarship was created by Gary in loving memory of his parents and serves as a tribute to the importance they placed on education.
