402 Scholarship

Provide scholarships for a CofC student living in the College Lodge residence hall.

Kristen Bowden is a 1995 graduate of the College of Charleston. She graduated with a degree in mathematics and elementary education. Since graduation, Kristen has been an active alumni leader, having served as a chapter officer for the Baltimore Alumni Chapter and a reunion class agent.

Many of Kristen’s best memories at the College of Charleston involve her residence hall, College Lodge. Kristen had the joy of living in College Lodge for four years, three of which were in Room 402 (hence the name of the scholarship). She has many wonderful memories from College Lodge, as there was always an adventure awaiting somewhere on the balconies! While none of her three children plan to attend CofC, she still wants a concrete connection to her old home. Kristen and Greg hope that this scholarship will not only help deserving students but also acknowledge the important role that the College Lodge played in Kristen’s student experience.
